He began his professional career in 1975 as a Technical Market Specialist with the Merrill Lynch Market Analysis Department in New York. Henry (Hank) Pruden
, Ph.D. is a professor in the Ageno School of Business at Golden Gate University, San Francisco where he has been teaching for 22 years.  He is the Executive Director of the Institute of Technical Market Analysis (ITMA).  At Golden Gate he developed the accredited courses in technical market analysis in 1976.
